A Wide-Body Cargo Aircraft
This massive aircraft has an extra-deep fuselage and is a heavily modified version of the 747-400 passenger aircraft that was designed, developed, and built specifically for the 787 Dreamliner product line.

The tail section of the fuselage is hinged to port, allowing unrestricted access to the entire cargo hold from the rear. The forward part of the fuselage allows easy access for the crew and some small cargo through conventional side doors.

The aircraft is designed with a length of 70.7 feet, a wingspan of 211.4 feet, and a height of 70.7 feet. It has a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 803,000 pounds, a cruise speed of 475 knots, and a range of 4,200 nautical miles.
The power source is four Pratt & Whitney PW062 turbofan engines, with 63,300 pounds of thrust per engine. The basic crew consists of two to three people, but of course, the number can be increased if necessary.
This investment has paid off, and Dreamlifter has been able to achieve its goals. It has a volume of 65,000 cubic feet and can carry 250,000 pounds of cargo.
It has the same wingspan as a 747-400 and has the range needed to carry assembly units to Boeing’s facilities in the northwestern United States.
The Dreamlifter made headlines when it accidentally landed on a small general aviation aircraft in Wichita, Kansas (Colonel James Jabara Airport).
The next day, it successfully took off from the facility to its original destination, McConnell Air Force Base.
