MilitaryEzyInfo.com – The social page of Alparslan Celik, who claimed to have killed a Russian pilot in 2015 in Syria, has come to life. It contains photographs of a person similar to him, who is at large. In 2017, an Izmir court sentenced a member of the far-right group “Gray Wolves” to five years in prison.

After almost five years of silence, Alparslan Celik’s Twitter page came to life. Three publications appeared on it, dated December 31, 2020. The first contains a note: “I believe in my destiny and country” and a photograph of a person similar to Celik, who is driving a car. In the photo of the latest publication, the same man stands at the grave of the founder of the “Gray Wolves” Alparslan Turkish. “I give my life for your country, my boss,” says the caption to the image.

Another publication is devoted to the story that Alparslan Celik received a call from the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party Devlet Bahceli, who is part of a coalition with the ruling Justice and Development Party, and honored him with his blessing.

Prior to that, the most recent publication on Alparslan Celik’s Twitter page dates back to February 2016. There is a photograph of a Gray Wolves fighter with a machine gun and full uniform in Syria.

Recall that in November 2015, on the border with Turkey in Syria, the Turkish Air Force shot down a Russian Su-24. Both pilots ejected, but the crew commander, Oleg Peshkov, was killed by shelling from the ground.

Alparslan Celik, a member of the Gray Wolves group, said he shot a Russian pilot. Haberturk reported that in March 2016, he and 13 others were detained in a restaurant in Izmir. During the search, they found a Kalashnikov assault rifle and cartridges for it. And in May 2017, the Izmir District Court sentenced the militant to five years in prison for possession of military weapons.
